Cultivate Iowa was launched on April 19, 2013 by the Iowa Food Systems Council to help
reduce food insecurity and improve health across Iowa.

- Gardeners may pledge to donate fresh produce online at www.cultivateiowa.org. Cultivate Iowa’s website has a list of local organizations that accept fresh produce.
Cultivate Iowa is an initiative of the Iowa Food Systems Council’s Food
Access & Health Work Group (FAHWG) to promote the benefits of food
gardening and produce donation to create a sustainable future and
healthier communities in Iowa.
